I’m still optimistic. The front placement will be hard to pinpoint and maybe we get lucky with a well-timed wave or two.

Disappointing way to end nasty heat though I did pick up nearly 3/4” last night. If I had gotten skunked for the weekend, I’d be pretty hard to tolerate right now. Sorry for those that got shut out.

The lantern flies are out of control in my yard and at first I was trying to kill them. But I’ve discovered that so far, they are only attacking the Tree of Heaven seedlings that I have been battling for the last couple of years, but to no avail. Nothing kills those dang weed trees, so I’m letting the lantern flies have a whack at it. -
Went down this morning to Easton to do a bike ride from there to Tighlman Island. Rode right by your school. In all the times I’ve been down that way, it’s the first time I’ve seen it.

Yeah, that's not true. On average, BWI has hit 100 every other year in the past 14 years. https://www.currentresults.com/Yearly-Weather/USA/MD/Baltimore/extreme-annual-baltimore-high-temperature.php I thought I heard one yesterday on a bike ride, but it was someone working on their house with a circular saw. I'll take the under though on when you hear the rest of them.

It was horrible. Seemingly every day was an air quality alert.

I didn’t know. I mean, I’m sure that you’ve said it, but I don’t recall information like that from an icon.

I only picked up .09" yesterday, but well over 5" for May, so all good. I can't wait to get out of work today to enjoy this stretch of great weather.

Yeah, I read their updated discussion. The hrrr and nam have showers and storms in the area between 3 and 4. There's a graduation at 3 and another at 7 this evening. I think if there's any thunder, they might clear the site.

Do any of the severe folks have any thoughts on this afternoon? HoCo has high school graduations at Merriweather and there are some freak outs brewing.

I investigated a post-midnight "screaming child" a few summers ago only to find a fox sitting calmly in the middle of the street just letting any and everyone know that she was available.

Almost all of the 1.14” yesterday from the slow moving line in the evening.

Legit hail. edit: thankfully it didn’t last long. I don’t need that stuff.
