    Well, hopefully the rain aspect fizzles out at least. Skiing in 50s and spotty drizzle is doable.

    Some just see what they want to see. Nothing is pointing to a perfect or great spring right now. Groomed manmade stuff will be available, of course. Will need some solid base building events for anything beyond that. The fluff that NNE received over the last week will be decimated by these upcoming rainers. It's not man-snow by any stretch. There is no way to sugarcoat warm temps and rain for three days straight followed by air that isn't cold at all.

    Gross stretch for NNE coming up. More back-to-back rainers. I'm sure I will be at 60 degrees on south winds for a while.

    Might not be much choice but to ski on the groomers by the time to smoke clears on Wednesday. 12z NAM is pretty hideous.

    The mon-tue system has definitely gone north the last few runs. If that turns into another rainer this will be quite a nasty spell and put us right back in the hole.

    I think we will be OK. May be a little less generous region-wide than the typical SWFE. But a shift back south would not be shocking either. Still a long way to go.

    Yeah, both of the little clippers this week did well here. I have received 21" since the back to back warm rainers here so it's been wintry, no doubt. The snow after the SWFE on 25 Feb has been kinda ephemeral though. Powderpuff stuff that measures well but quickly flattens out to much less.

    I wonder how deep the support for him goes in Russia. Attempting to kill him could create a martyr situation and justify his actions. Hitler enjoyed pretty broad support even as the Allies closed in, as an analog. There is always a noisy minority that protests and gets headlines but does like 75% of the country still back Putin?

    We have about 500,000 dead Americans to go before that happens based on historical precedent.

    Hopefully it comes north. NNE ski areas will really need a good storm after Sunday. Congrats BOS... again, I guess.

    Yeah definitely felt cold on the mountain today.

    Some pretty good deals on season passes coming out now. BW has an afternoons only pass that works great for us.

    Being a warm troll here is the easiest job. If it turns out warm, you look smart. If it turns out cold and snowy, people are too busy enjoying that to bump your bad calls.

    I figured the VT crew must be getting hammered by now because the snow is great here. VT crew asleep at the wheel once again.

    I’ll take it. SNE needs to start planting tomatoes and worrying over drought, IMO. It’s time.
