  1. The temp swings we get around here are nuts. Just a couple hours ago it was below freezing with ice making the pines droop a little and now I am sitting on a porch swing in a t shirt.
  2. 57 now. Pack is actually doing ok. If it wasn’t supposed to be rainy again tomorrow I’d say this was not too bad.
  3. I have seen this same chart many times since the middle of Feb.
  4. 49 now. Winds are out of the south now which means I am getting toasty. Sun breaking through too.
  5. Gotta love going from February, to March, to April in like 10 hours. LOL
  6. Winds shifted and now it’s 41. Took ten mins as usual. Here we go.
  7. Glad to see I can still do CAD and not always just shoot to 60 in these events.
  8. Roads are slick. It’s raining too hard to really accrete much. But pack is holding fine so far.
  9. This isn’t a pack murderer here… yet. I’m sure that will change soon. Still raining at 30. Roads are slick.
  10. Weather has played a role. Two well below par seasons.
  11. The only thing epic about this March so far is how bad it has been. Maybe mid-month it finally turns around and we can get a couple weeks of a grand finale on the slopes.
  12. Not sure, I haven't been over to Cannon much this season. Been at Wildcat when not at BW. I would imagine it hasn't been open much given the way the winter is going. Maybe for a week or so late Jan.
  13. Yeah, definitely felt more like the end of March rather than the beginning there today. Can't imagine how it will look by Wednesday.
  14. The more I visit other mountains the more I keep coming back to BW. I never have a bad day there but at other places it can be bad or good. All depends on what you like. I know the feeling that you could get hit. I skied Cranmore today and it was full of the usual lower intermediate skill teenagers who go way too fast and are clearly unable to control their direction or speed. Basically human cannonballs. That’s never fun to deal with.
  15. DJ’s tramline at cannon is good for beginners.
  16. People should just stick with the alternative choice, which is clearly going very well.
  17. Looks like PA skiing to be honest. They are already skiing shirtless here.
  18. Skiing at Cranmore. Areas off trail mostly bare. No perfect spring season coming here unless they get more snow.
  19. For sure. Just doesn’t hold up well here when the downsloping off Madison and Adams starts. It is obliterated within like 10 mins. LOL
  20. The snow in NNE over the last week is the kind where it piles up to six inches but then you step on it and it’s now half an inch.
  21. People with small kids of varying ability. Plus the conditions in the trees need to be timed. I ski five days a week so I go in the trees if conditions are good for it. Not too often in NH the last two winters, IMO.
