This will be an all time top warmest and least snowy winter ever. It has earned its place in history right next to 72-73, 97-98, 01-02, 11-12. 91-92 was no bargain either

Rooting obviously has no effect on the weather. My point was that why would anyone in their right mind want/wish for cold weather right now? Besides the fact that it’s spring, put that aside, sustained, anomalous cold weather right now would dramatically worsen an already very bad health crisis in this country

Yea, it’s spring, why anyone be rooting for very cold weather right now given this pandemic we are in is beyond me. Cold weather would make an already really horrible situation worse with this virus, it would help spread it even more

The peepers were out full volume here last night. I don’t ever remember them being out this early. Hard to believe it’s only the 2nd week of March

It’s still going to be a torch here though. Severe -PNA. The result would have been the same even in winter. Huge SE ridge pattern, -EPO doesn’t automatically mean cold East as we are about to see.....

The atmospheric push towards a healthy La Niña right now seems to be real, when you combine that with a -PDO regime....not good if you hate the heat. I have a bad feeling this summer is going to really be a scorcher

Thank you. He lived a very long time, we got him as a kitten in January, 1999. He was in really great health until October, then I noticed him starting to fail slowly, not wanting to play with the dog anymore, sleeping all day, bad appetite. The vet said he wasn’t in any pain or suffering so I let him go on his own. He passed in his sleep. A truly amazing friend to me, my family and my dog, 21 years was too short

Today is a very sad day for me, my cat, my buddy Rusty, passed away a couple of hours ago, he lived a great life, he turned 21 back in January. I already miss him terribly. It’s a shame cats and dogs don’t live longer lives.....

“Mersky” is coo coo for Cocoa Puffs. He is on the NYC and New England forums as well. Does nothing but troll and make really weird posts. Contributes nothing at all. Last week he sent me an extremely creepy PM about touching me. Dude needs some serious psychiatric and psychological help....
