    I'm surprised how many posters we have on this subforum. Definitely more than I thought. We basically have the same amount of snow as all of last year. Let's continue it.

    Decided to measure in various places to get a total. Majority of the places was around 10.5-11. On top of my garbage can lid I got a solid 12 inches. Regardless of the total great storm. Looks like maybe a cold front on Christmas. Let's see if we can hold on to some of our snow until then.

    May not have had the biggest totals but this storm was great. Most fell during daylight, strong snowbands, and we didn't mix at all.

    I have about 10.5 in my backyard. I don't know if ill hit the 12 inch mark but this was a great storm.

    Finally a decent storm during the day and I get to sit at home and enjoy it because I was possibly exposed to Covid. I'll take whatever falls.

    NAM still has us at 9 inches. Id be happy with 7 or 8 and hope for a big daddy come Jan-Feb

    Well let's see what happens. A couple days ago we weren't even in the game. Now we may score a warning level snowfall. Time to observe the storm itself.

    Seriously the storm hasn't even started yet and you are complaining. We've seen storms bust high and bust low it happens. Stop getting emotional over every model run for your own sanity and enjoy whatever falls.

    Settle the 18z euro is still good. Let's see what the NAM brings. Let's be honest even the globals become more and more worthless as nowcasting time begins.

    Still looks good to me. If it overperforms then maybe we get 12 or 14 but are we gonna be upset with we get like 8 or 10???

    And what happens if it correct back west next run. The NAM is still like 10inches. Just relax and see what happens with the other models. 00z will be the test. If they look bleak then we temper our expectations and just be happy with whatever we get. Maybe this is exactly why the NWS doesn't run with the highest model. 5-8 storm is still a solid storm and it's only December.

    Chill man. GFS has always been the more progressive model. Is it right? Is the NAM right?? Who knows.
