    Tbh GFS looks pretty good in the long range. I know it stings but it looks like we will have some more chances down the road IF this doesn't deliver nothing more than 1-2 inches.

    Ukmet still has us for 4 but man it's a kick in the teeth. It wouldn't be as bad if I just saw this now but seeing those big runs earlier hurt. Not to mention we are snow starved.

    My towel is in my hand with my wrist cocked back. If it doesn't start trending better by 12z tomorrow then I'm throwing it in. The energy is just too weak according to the GFS.

    Usually I'd feel good about us being on the northern side but seems like the energy is just weakening and there just no primary into our area. The storm is turning into a straight Miller A. This can change with future runs but it's looking bleak. KPitt I allow you to cry now.

    Lol he says he likes us for 6+ BUT he also said if the energy is weaker which has been that the storm would be further north which it is not. So I don't know im misunderstanding him or not.

    Euro looks weaker fwiw. Hopefully it's just off runs and 0z shows us some goods. Maybe this is the storm where it trends better as it gets closer. We usually have them look really good at 84 and get worse as it approaches. See you back to digest the long range nam!

    So it trended terribly the past 12 hours so let's see if we can get some positive trends in the next runs. I need to stay away or my negativity is gonna rival KPitt .

    Yep unfortunately I think we are fucked. Just be happy with whatever falls, but the current trends these past 12 hours are ABSOLUTELY terrible.

    Fwiw Bernie posted a video about the storm and thinks we are in the risk for 6+. Now he said that if the energy is weaker than most areas will be lucky to see more than a few inches.

    Yep the EPS sees the speed increase as well. So basically we need this to slow down a little if we wanna maximize precip. Clearly you can see between 0z and 12z the precip totals were cut in nearly half.

    Euro obviously shows less precip overall. Let's see if this keeps trending this way or if we are just getting to a more realistic depiction.

    Easy now. Don't jump yet. The shortwave isn't sampled until probably tomorrow's 12z. The big jumps are most likely not gonna happen since this isn't a big phase bomb. I'm sure we will see minor adjustments both ways the next few runs. It always seems to happen.
