  1. interesting look just south of Glen Burnie on LWX and BWI's TDWR velocity scan...
  2. Interesting look from KI looking west across the bay at that rotating cell ... looks a bit like a wall cloud
  3. https://chart.maryland.gov/video/video.php?feed=9201ff5801f700d700437a45351f0214
  4. Frederick seems to be the La Plata of the west lol Seriously though seems like I-70 from Frederick to Columbia gets quite a few tornados compared to the rest of the area
  5. Cool view of the cell going up east of me over the bay... https://ibb.co/NC3gZxj
  6. There was definitely some low rotating scud and strong gusts that just moved through Bowie... had a nice view of it coming in from the SW facing 4th floor of my office building.
  7. This has been a great event... some of the hardest snow I've seen in a long time this morning around 9a in northern AACo... visibility was almost zero...
  8. The NWS Active Alerts map looks insane... never seen so many counties under some sort of winter weather advisory/warning...
  9. Many have used the term to our significant others when they ask what the hell we're doing putting our boots and gloves on to go wander around in a snowstorm at midnight lmao
  10. Pretty incredible that most of us are nearing or have already hit the minimum we were expecting just 2 days ago...
  11. 28 and just about 2" even in Glen Burnie on elevated surfaces like my truck's tonneau cover. Quiet, glowing... Only sounds are the crunch beneath my feet and the fatties hitting my coat hood. Beautiful out.
  12. Wow 6-8 up to BWI... LWX has to move WSWs up to AA, HoCo and FDK now. Prob Balt and Carroll too
  13. As much as I'd like to vote for '83 since I supposedly began life during that storm (Born in Nov '83 )... Its hard to say between '96 and Snowmageddon 1... '96 was absolutely epic where I lived at the time in western HoCo right on Parr's Ridge... I think we measured around 32", but it was hard because the drifts were everywhere. There were several 5-6' drifts in my front yard. I LOVED Snowmageddon 1 because it dropped an obscene amount of snow, but also because it was an MA Special... SNE and NE were completely left out
