  1. Ukie LP position looks good but absolutely anemic NW precip shield
  2. Last week reminded/reinforced to me that we really don't want to be in the bullseye at 5 days out... I'm good with where we are
  3. I keep waiting to hear some thundersleet... That would be the icing on the cake Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
  4. I thought I'd be upset at lack of snow but this sleet is impressive and interesting enough that I'm not even mad... It's shocking how hard it's sleeting Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
  5. He's not wrong... We're all a little insane to care this much. My wife thinks the same Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
  6. Not a flake in Glen Burnie yet... Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
  7. https://x.com/RyanMaue/status/2014921199768240324?s=20 Maue is very big on the RRFS built-in ratio model which looks better than Kuchera for here Kuchera: RRFS Ratio:
  8. For anyone who needed a little pick-me-up... 00z ICON held/improved a tiny bit...
  9. Ok that really is impressive now that Mt. Holly has issued their warnings...
  10. The biggest thing is the bleeding north has stopped, at least for now... even if we don't see some sort of major south trend
  11. I don't understand why LWX posts this map in 3 different places on their site - https://www.weather.gov/lwx/winter#tab-1 - https://www.weather.gov/lwx/winter#tab-2 - https://www.weather.gov/lwx/winter#tab-3 ... and they're never the same map. You literally have to click all 3 tabs and look at all 3 versions' timestamp to find the latest one. Why don't they just post the latest one in one spot!?
  12. It looks like the snowfall maps weren't affected by it - just the ptype map... at least on Pivotal
  13. I wonder what the sleet record is for DC/Balt
  14. Eastern Shore is covered by Mt. Holly and they haven't issued warnings yet
  15. I don't think its that because Kuchera is lower than snow depth as well
  16. Just noticed something on Pivotal that you don't see every day... 10:1 12z 12k NAM: vs Snow Depth 12z 12k NAM: How often does the snow depth map look more impressive than the 10:1 snowfall map? I'm guessing the depth includes sleet but 10:1 does not?
