  1. you can go ahead and rule it out down this way
  2. So happy for her and the proud parents! Congrats all!
  3. On now: The Killing Moon - Echo and the Bunnymen (still an all-time great song) Recently played: Head Like a Hole - Don't You (forget about me) - Just Like Heaven - How Soon is Now - One Thing Leads to Another
  4. Duckpin and now Modelo. We are not fancy on this evening. Yeah, @WxUSAF... it is weird indeed. But 80s classic alternative was...a LONG time ago now. Everyone remove themselves from my lawn.
  5. Glad things are better now Mrs. J. On my end, the youngest home from college, the grill fired up, and two whole chickens quartered and marinating. Classic alternative on the speaker. Beer in use. A good Wednesday.

  7. That has happened with a bunch of the March events since 2016 that others have cashed in on and around Baltimore city area not so much. No idea why. Probably a peculiarity for these kind of March systems.
  8. Have had steady enough additional snow that I am up to 2 inches now. Trees are absolutely gorgeous. Temp 24.
  9. Not in Monkton. I am about a half mile east of the NCR trail off Sheppard rd. One inch, roads fine.
  10. speaking from 300 feet lower than you...it made a difference.
  11. there is not. I will end up at 1 inch in monkton. Hard to imagine Hunt Valley much more and roads are clear.
  12. Five to eight miles making a big difference. Also, as ever, I suck at snow.
  13. Def not wind driven mauling that was advertised. I am at one slushy inch. Still time to change I suppose but this would be another disappointment really.
  14. Been kinda slow to pickup here in Monkton. Pavement not even close to being covered.
  15. Happens every so often just to dangle the carrot before us in other set-ups...(remember that March storm in 22? This can be just like that! etc)
  16. Snow is picking up now. grassy areas whitening up. C'mon rates, let's go.
  17. It's snowing harder to the front of my house than the side of my house. Gonna go turn on a big fan and even this out...
  18. It is...BUT (Stephen A. Smith voice) - for me to be ok with snow in mid-March it needs to be a big one or dynamic event...so hoping for wind and whiteouts with this one.
  19. It helps my SAD (which I've discussed on here before) to know that we are looking at 60s for the foreseeable future starting Tuesday. This seems like a fun event and then we can get on with spring.
  20. just wait about 10 minutes. It will flip. Your sleet won't last long.
  21. Confirmed. It was 44 when I left to run down to Hunt Valley - 32 when I got back. That was about 45 minutes later. Sleet/snow when I brought groceries in, mostly snow now. REALLY EXCITED. Saturday, nothing to do and nowhere to go, just want to watch it pour snow and blow around.
  22. Ran down the giant by McCormick at shaman rd and york - sleet and snow starting to work in. Hope same is happening back up in Monkton. 38 at this location.
