  1. It appears finally caught some rain overnight. Don’t have a station at the new house yet but there are puddles on the patio.
  2. I got this right for up this way. 30 minutes of light rain. Now full sun. Looks like we are done.
  3. Best chances for storms/a lot of rain seem like it would from BWI south, right? At least that's my read on things.
  4. Came back around midnight. Nextdoor talking about a pole down on York about 10 miles from me. Guessing an accident. Sorta amusing this keeps happening about three hours after I've gone grocery shopping and re-stocked the fridge for the week...
  5. Power went off at 4. Came back at 4:30. power went back off at 7. Not back yet. Wtf bge.
  6. 93/66 - def not gonna get to 100 here. Fine by me.
  7. 90/68 at noon in Monkton. hot.
  8. but the spinny smoke is pretty damn metal tho
  9. 40/70 - people in our area associate Ninas with misses south and also east. So people hear Nina and assume Carolina crusher and an eastern shore mauler where most of this forum gets missed.
  10. Ranking the best things after power comes back on from an extended days-long outage 1. Running water returns (well people know) 2. AC returns 3. When trash day finally arrives and all the spoiled food from the outage finally goes to its final resting place and stops making the air evil foul for 100+ feet around the trash bins That last one is seriously under-rated. Holy hell, welcome, refuse workers. Your sacrifice is appreciated tomorrow.
  11. Someone else can have it, por favor. All good in northern maryland for awhile.
  12. thats the kind of summer storm I can live with. Some rolling thunder and downpours for the grass. Little wind. Will take 100 times out of 100.
  13. That is a great sign. About one hour after a few trucks made it down my street, the power was back this morning. Hope it is the same for you.
  14. That first pic...I am pretty much WSW from Bel Air. That's what rolled over us. The punch when the wind hit was immediate. We went from no wind to had to be 60 mph+. The power was gone just a second or two after the wind hit. Sustained for the first bit. The tree damage and snapped lines in Monkton on Monkton Rd. near the NCR trail and also on Corbett Rd between NCR trail and middle school was jaw dropping. I assume NWS found straightline wind damage in northern balt county as opposed to a quick spinny? Cell service and data has been hard to come by so I didn't see any of the posts (if there were any) about what the NWS survey found...
  15. It was 15,000 areawide this AM but my cluster looked like 157 customers affected - but it is no longer me! just before 10 am power came back. I feel more like normal again…
  16. Around 88 hours now, still no power. Has to be today it comes back, right? RIGHT?
  17. You will definitely never catch me rooting for a cat 5 up the bay…
  18. Just hit the 72 hour mark since power went off. woo
  19. Every day the estimate changes to 11 pm whatever day it is. So…counter re-set to 11 pm today I guess.
  20. Still no power. 63 hours and counting.
