  1. Lol the warm cuts are only gone in your head, rain on Friday
  2. MJO is not very strong on Euro or UKMET, the GFS has something wrong with it.
  3. Armonk always does much better than White Plains, looked at a few homes their but too much money and taxes
  4. Is Connecticut NE, I live two miles from the border. Just wondering. I'm also not a "kid" and I have been on these forums since wright weather
  5. Having Boston snowfall at a trace with it being December 23rd, nuff said
  6. Not seeing the winter threats mixed in not do I see this magic New year's day target where the pattern "flips". I do not trust long range NAO modeling and the Pacific is not serviceable. Think we need more posts about the SSW....
  7. Do we have a thread for the ice storm next week?
  8. Please take pics of your ice storm next Friday
  9. Cutters shall continue well into January. PV split into Europe and we go zonal gradient with cutters. NAO like always will fail and fade as we move up in time
  10. Very much doubt it gets split in three, I favor the PV in Europe. A SSW event is very risky, if it does settle in Europe don't expect much winter weather in the East
  11. Don't like the look of the SSW event, looks to displace the PV into Europe
  12. It's actually meaningless at this stage, just noise and a no storm is just as likely
  13. He's rushing the pattern it's no earlier than after the new year
  14. It's very disappointing for the ski resorts, not everyone can take off or go up a weekend this month, was planning on next week but it's looking
  15. Close the shades until well after the new year, the melt downs are just beginning
  16. I lived right on the water most of my life, wind direction is what it comes down to. A costal front and water temperature are two different things. Water in the 50s is not an issue with the correct wind
  17. It's been a historic December, the storm just hit NC and VA instead of the northeast
  18. Water temperatures are almost irrelevant for most coastal storms
  19. I don't understand what's wrong, they are right on the water.
  20. Huh, doesn't mean that at all. Means the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia look good for a historic snow storm
