I now officially hate these crazy wind events! I had 2 massive limbs come down from a large Maple tree in my backyard yesterday around 3:30 pm. Fortunately my 2 daughters were not home from school yet and the dog was not outside when it happened. There was no damage to the house and it missed the power lines. We were able to have a tree service come out and take care of it all this morning. It could have been much worse, but I will now be fearful of the next wind event!

That’s probably true. I remember @psuhoffman mentioning that good October snow has happened so few times in our region that there is no way to say that it has any correlation with snow amounts in that particular season.
