I almost forgot the RGEM, which has been on a roll lately.

Many of the 0z & 6z models are still on the snow train for early Saturday. It might just be 1 or 2 inches of snow, but why not pad the stats.

The 0z RGEM is still snowing on us at the end of the 84 hour run Saturday morning.

Hopefully the rest of the 0z holds the cold in just as many of the 18z models did.

The 18z Euro also said “All Aboard!” for a snow appetizer on the train’s dining car early Saturday.

We might have a chance at an appetizer event Friday night into early Saturday. The 18z RGEM is looking tasty at the end of the run for maybe an inch or two of snow. This model is on a good run...maybe it keeps it going ?

Yes, I had a couple of festive Christmas snow showers on Christmas Day that gave me a light coating. I think MDT even recorded .2 or .3 of snow on Christmas Day! Another good chapter to our very nice Winter so far.

Yet somehow... MDT had LESS than a 10 to 1 ratio per my post above!

The 18z EPS also has this same basic idea of some front end snow on the wave on Friday night.

The 12z Canadian likes the idea of some front end snow on a wave early on Saturday. The models have been on & off with this idea over the last few days. The Canadian & RGEM have been on a good winning streak... maybe they can keep it going? This would get me my .3 inches & then some...!

@Cashtown_Coop Please ask your friends at CTP how they only got 3.6 inches of snow out of .39 precip today that was all snow according to the 5 pm daily summary??? Yes, I understand ratios, but many surrounding reports were over 4 inches near MDT. I want 20 inches at MDT... with the 3.6, they are only sitting at 19.7 for the month...! The CTP guys seem to like you... please try to get this fixed! We still have time until the official daily summary goes in overnight! I understand this is super trivial, but I am just having some fun with this... kind of...sort of...

The RGEM nailed this storm for my yard over the last couple of days. 5 inches of snow here in Marysville today! Great over-performing event!

Sometimes if they wake up with no snow on the ground and “only” an Advisory amount is forecast, they send them to school and then deal with it later on. With all of the recent storms, I hope they make the right call tomorrow and don’t put anyone in a bad situation.
