I loved that storm, but the rest of that Winter was miserable being a snow fan around here!

Most of the general public have no idea what normal temps or precip should be for a given month. Most just remember the major events but don’t recall the typical days. They think that the weather is just not like what it was back when they grew up. I try to remind people that many of the extremes have happened decades ago, and will likely happen once again some year.

I agree. Today was a little chilly at times, but overall a great day to be outdoors getting a few projects done in the yard!

It looks like CTP removed any chance of rain today for the Harrisburg area. A couple of days ago today was supposed to be a washout. It looks like New England is getting a good Spring snowstorm tomorrow!

I disagree. They often forget their role in sending proper messages to the public because they are too concerned with their internal criteria. Sometimes the “spirit” of the law overrides the “letter” of the law. I know that I had a severe thunderstorm here with violent lightning, but was not warned.

I’ve had a Watch or Warning for much less over the years. This Storm tonight deserved it more than many failed storms with headlines from previous events.

Yes, this is a long duration rolling thunder & lightning show! It is even more majestic when you haven’t had a good storm since last summer.

The rain recently ended and the sun is emerging from the clouds. Maybe we can still salvage part of the day?

Not much precip is currently showing on the radar in PA. There is more precip back in Mid-West that might pivot through later on.

It’s raining....great weekend day....why couldn’t this wait until Monday? Of course early this week will be nice when most of us can’t fully enjoy it!

I wish that was the situation, but I’m not seeing anything close to that according to the snow map.
