    Yes, the 3k NAM is saying don’t forget about the caboose on the snow train tonight! It has 1 to 2 more inches of snow for most of us by tomorrow early afternoon.

    18z Euro agrees that we will have the chance to tack on some more snow tonight!

    The radar is looking good to our south & west for round 2 tonight! Light snow is underway again here in Marysville with not much showing on radar at the moment.

    MDT recorded 3.5 inches of snow today so far at the 5pm climate summary. They are now above normal snow for the whole season! Still over a month to go to pad the stats!

    The flake size has increased with moderate snow now in Marysville. Yes...the road has caved!

    The 6z NAMs still get good snow into most of CTP.

    The HRDPS has a nice swath of 6 to 8 inches of snow for the LSV.

    The next run will show 3 inches by 11 am and then the next run will show partly cloudy with a high of 60 at the same time. The hourly swings on the HRRR are bizarre.

    Most models put us into a range of 4 to 8 inches, so I think that is a reasonable forecast at this time.

    The 0z ICON looks good for CTP. I only have it available in 10-1 ratio.

    21z SREF still targets the LSV with the bullseye! I am riding the old school model train!

    CTP forecast is looking good on the 12k NAM. It looks like 5 to 8 when the storm is done.

    Yes, the 0z HRRR gives a solid 5 to 7 inches of snow to the LSV through Friday am.

    The 18z EPS says that we are all in good shape for 5 to 6 inches in the LSV. This ensemble is only available in 10-1 ratio, so we could possibly add 1 or 2 inches of snow to this in some areas.

    How about the good old SREF...? It seems to look much like the CTP forecast.

    I found this to be interesting from an Accuwether article this morning. "Already 73.2% of the lower 48 U.S. is covered in snow and we will build on the existing amount of snow on the ground with this next storm," Rayno said. Since snow cover began being tracked regularly in 2003, this is the highest percentage of the contiguous 48 states to be covered by snow. The old record was 70.9% on Jan. 12, 2011.“
