The temperature drop was indeed very notable today, I got home a little after 6 pm and it was 46 degrees with light rain. It almost felt like early Winter outside this evening.

Hopefully @paweather is just as accurate with his snow forecasts this season.

That 6z GFS run this morning was the stuff that snow dreams are made of…what I would give to see even half of that run verify…

I would like to see this type of coastal low around 2 months from now.

Lol, thanks? Hopefully I make a decent post every now & then. The Sixers need someone that can create their own shot or get to the rim on their own in the 4th quarter. Joel can’t do everything on his own. Tobias does not often rise to the occasion in crunch time. Their role players disappear as well when it counts. Hopefully Morey can trade Simmons for a player that can help to solve this problem.

All of us on here must have been distracted by Fall fun & college football yesterday because we missed the 18z GFS!

My family and I made the trip to Knoebel’s yesterday and had a great time despite the weather conditions during the afternoon. The forecast all week was mostly cloudy with temperatures in the 50’s, which seemed like perfect Fall weather to enjoy the day. However, on Friday, CTP introduced a slight chance of light showers. Suddenly on Saturday morning, they upped the forecast to a 60% chance of showers. This turned into a steady light to moderate rain that lasted for the 90 minute drive and through our first couple of hours at the park yesterday afternoon. It was chilly with temps that dropped from the low 50’s to the upper 40’s. The place was packed during the afternoon and evening, so the weather didn’t stop the family Fall fun for many people.

@Itstrainingtime The Flyers are at home tonight at 7 pm. Have you considered attending a triple header this weekend?

They still need a closer. They had the same problem in the playoffs last year.

The telleconnections are starting to go in the right direction starting next week. The EPO going negative and the PNA going positive will help to move toward a better pattern for those that want colder weather with storms, that hopefully will turn wintry as the calendar advances. I’m looking forward to the next few days of normal to below normal temperatures! Fall Weather will feel extra refreshing after the recent warmth.
