MDT is officially on the board with 0.1 of an inch of snow yesterday! Let’s see if another tenth or so gets added for today for the additional little bit of snow after midnight?

Snowing at MDT as of 11 pm. First Trace of the year should at least go in the books. Hopefully a few tenths with get recorded overnight.

Grass & Mulched areas now have a coating as well. Light to Moderate snow continues.

All is well…light snow tonight and MJO heading into phase 7 in December. Met Winter has not even started yet.

Temps won’t be an issue tonight for any snow that falls. All of CTP is either at or below freezing at this hour.

Exactly, I’m not worried about December. It might warm up briefly. The MJO is heading towards phase 7, which is cold for December. We should have our chances.

Lol…Thanks! Hopefully MDT doesn’t have too many jets taking off overnight so the observer can record a few tenths of snow. I’m already preparing for the “T” to go in the books despite multiple nearby reports of .3 to .5.

Yes, I think north of Rt.30 or turnpike on north has the best shot at the better “heavy” coatings of snow.
