Great early season storm that over performed!

The 12z EPS snow map, for trend purposes only at this time, is also heading in the right direction. The 2 inch snow line by day 15 is very far south for the time of year. This is the best look so far in this early tracking season.

The EPS telleconnections are lining up nicely over the next 2 weeks as we end November and roll into early December. The NAO and AO are heading negative while the PNA is going positive.

Today had the look and feel of a Winter day. For some reason, I didn’t wear a coat today. @Itstrainingtime would be proud of me for leaving my coat at home today!

The GFS is still trying to get a coastal storm going early next week.

It’s good to see accumulating snow getting to most of the western half of PA by mid November. Hopefully the LSV gets the next one.

Mt. Holly has snow tonight for Berks county. CTP right next county over has all rain for Lebanon. Let’s see which office gets it right tonight?

Anyway…back to more important things like snow… Several reporting stations in western PA reported light snow at 10 am. Snow is back!

Either way, you should win this weekend. Hopefully it’s a Football + Snow win-win for you! The 3k NAM at 12z says that you have a good chance at seeing snow in Pittsburgh by Sunday evening.
