The Braves-Padres game on Saturday night was super frustrating. The Padres bullpen and defense coughed the game up twice.

I’m trying to forget the “Grinch” storm from last year that wiped out our 10 to 15 inches of snow last Christmas Eve!

I don’t think any question is ever “dangerous”. Questions are how we learn and we make progress. No one knows all of the answers in regard to the future. This planet has obviously been around for a very long time, and will be here well beyond how ever many years that our lives will last. No one should write anything off, but no one has all of the answers either.

Yes, there is no denying that the planet has been in a warm period in recent decades. The question is will it continue? Will it cycle back to normal or below at some point in future decades? Time will tell the story eventually.

By “dry”, I just meant a period of below normal precip, not completely devoid of precip!

It’s time for a dry period. We have had more than enough rain in September. My ideal plan is to have a nice dry period with normal temperatures from October to mid November. Then, once we get to mid November, bring the above normal precip back along with below normal temperatures. At that point, let the CTP snow tracking get underway!

It really is a shame that the situation has escalated to this point. Hopefully Morey can make the best trade possible. He is one of the best GMs in the league, so I am hopeful that he makes the right move.

Congrats to the refs who gifted the game to Dallas! The league always tries to keep the Cowboys relevant early in the season. They didn’t want Dallas to go 0-2!

The average high at MDT is still 77 as of yesterday. I was telling my family yesterday that mid 80’s in mid September are not that unusual. I gave them an example that it was like a February day when the average high is in the low 40’s but the high gets to the low 50’s. My point was that yesterday was not too far out of the normal range of high temperatures. Temps typically ranging from 5 to 10 degrees above or below normal are what produces our “average” temperatures.

This week looks like much more typical mid to late September weather in Harrisburg with temps in the low to mid 70’s all week.
