  5. Good point and it is interesting to track even though there are no snow maps for these events to post!
  6. It’s really interesting to see the heavy rain in all directions but your yard and mine missed the heavy stuff this past week.
  7. We would be good for awhile with no rain in my area. The grass and weeds were out of control this week in my yard. We even missed out on most of the heavy rain this week here.
  8. Good points. I have learned to enjoy more of the weather in each season, but the Summer is still the one that I struggle with the most!
  9. CTP is ramping up their language on the heavy rain and flooding threat with the Ida remnants. “A cold front will move through the region from the northwest during the afternoon on Monday, leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms. After the front moves through, there will be a brief lull in activity before moisture from Ida moves into thearea. Tropical moisture ahead of Hurricane Ida will start to advect in from the south starting on Tuesday afternoon and evening. The current model trend has been to bring more moisture northward. Models have been converging on a solution, with more agreement on the time of arrival and northward extent of moisture from Ida. PWATs at this time for Wednesday are around 2 inches. Will need to watch the development and progression of Ida for locally heavy rainfall Tuesday through Thursday and the. potential for flooding.”
  10. Most of us in the southern half of PA do not need 2 to 4 inches or more of rain this week. Imagine if we got this Precip map for a snowstorm this Winter?
  11. I don’t track things like 90 degree days which I truly can’t stand!
  12. First, I am ready to get rid of this humidity! it was brutal outside doing yard work this morning.
  13. I’m ready to start counting inches and feet of snow…!
  14. This looks like a fantastic few days coming up this week!

Chance of precipitation is 30%. Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 79.
  16. Congrats! You’ll be mowing twice a week in no time!
  17. Yeah, it will probably hit 100 several times and stuff… (I’ll keep the reverse psychology going…)
  18. Great post! I agree 100% with your thoughts on Joe. I have been and will continue to be a long time subscriber to his Premium website. He is tremendous with pattern recognition. His memory of great storms and the maps that he produces from analog storms or patterns are second to none.
  19. Lol…We need to build the snow cover in Central & Eastern Canada!
