  1. The 12z main global models today each had a very interesting look for the 25th. Cold highs pressing down with a good amount of precip in the south central states.
  2. Yes! It looks like we may be back in the Winter storm business in about 9 days. I don’t mind warm ups that much when I can see the way out.
  3. The end of the 18z GFS is interesting as well. More energy in the south central states with plenty of cold available.
  4. 18z GFS says that we will only need to wait 2 weeks until Winter weather returns.
  5. I ended up with 1.8 of snow in Marysville. The heavy band was nice, but most of the time rates dropped off in between bands. Those that stayed in the good band or got hit with both got the 3 or 4 inch amounts. I enjoyed every minute of it, but I am tired now!

  8. @Cashtown_Coop It looks like you & I are the only 2 snow gamers that are awake now on here. How is the snow looking now for you?
  9. Heavy snow at 4:15am in this band in Marysville! The Statement above is legit with great flake size & rates. Roads caved and I’m approaching 1 inch of snow that is now quickly accumulating.

  11. 0z Euro had its best run yet for this event for the LSV for what it’s worth at this point.
  12. Hopefully the Lancaster & York crew cashed in on this heavy band.

  14. I woke up around 2 am to moderate snow in Marysville. Grassy surfaces and car tops have caved. There looks to be around .5 of snow out there as of 2:30 am.
  15. Again, Rouzerville & Cashtown jackpot, so it must be right.
  16. Great point about the precip orientation so far this evening. The LSV is more than due for an over performing event!
  17. The 3k NAM looks right for our region… It shows the typical jackpot for Rouzerville & @Cashtown_Coop Let’s do this!
  18. The most recent SREF models juiced up a bit as well. These I only have in 10-1 ratio.
  19. Here’s a different view of the 18z NAM. The precip orientation is a little sporadic, but I really like seeing the “blues” as far west as Mifflin county. This is a great sign for western areas of the LSV to possibly get into the 2 to 3 inch snow zone.
  20. I’m just joking around with you… March will be our month!
  21. Are you enjoying living close to them again now that you’re back in Texas?
