I was thinking to myself, that looks like an inverted trough there…but didn’t know if that was a good sign or not. Thanks for the info. Yes, sometimes it seems like when you see that look, it’s the modeling not quite knowing what to do with the energies..and then that morphs as later runs figure it out.

Ya, that was a big jump NW on the GEFS. Much improved as you said. Contrary to some of the naysayers, this isn’t dead yet. -
And then somebody weenies me for stating the truth. An 18” snowstorm less than a week ago Ken, and the winter on Jan 13th is an F-? So you agree with his idea of an F- after a crushing event 5 days prior?

Not really. But I’d be cleaning up the storm threads that have the nonsense that we just saw. There’s no place for it. Ya, it doesn’t look great for the threat currently, but it’s not the end of winter either. That’s what would get removed. As Will did.

It was the NAM that sniffed out tomorrow’s squalls back on Thursday night at 84 hrs…so don’t be so quick to right it off just yet. Sometimes the NAM, as bad as it can be, has brought back potentials from the dead before other modeling has. So just be weary of that fact Joe.

Didn’t the NAM a couple nights ago(Thursday at 0z fri.) hint at this? And we were like what the heck is the NAM Doing? Hmm, I think it caught the first glimpse of this.

There it is. Folks are ornery because Thursday night at 0z it looked very nice on the 0z runs for this(folks were thinking 6 plus easy), and the 19th and 20th too. Then yesterday the rug got pulled, and the usual whiners are all jumping. As you said, let’s see how things evolve after this POS today moves out? I’m actually glad we’re tracking.

Nobody is punting anything…stay calm. At least you’re tracking something, and theres a chance you may see some snow. That’s a positive. Now carry on.

So true John. That’s how you know they are not genuine in their efforts, but only look to troll. Agreed 100%. It’s posters like that ruin good places like this. I’ve blocked as many of them as I can, and it’s a much better experience.
