    But but but…the waters are so anomalously warm in the Atlantic off New England, is all we hear lol…I guess not warm enough to support any tropical entity.

    Agreed. I think the wet idea for SNE is a pretty sure assumption …just how much rain is the question currently. I’m thinking an inch is a pretty sure bet for most of CT at the moment…And probably more.

    Yes, this seems to be heading in a more impactful direction for a lot of folks, from NC on north. At least we have something to watch.

    I think the heavy rain will get inland some…maybe not that far north of the pike..but south of the pike I think is in for some good rain.

    Had this exact same thing happen to me years ago in my driveway in the dark. I thought it was a cat coming up the driveway in the dark, and I didn’t give it a thought, and this skunk comes right up and brushed against my leg with some decent force as a cat would do…And just kept on walking. Absolutely surprised/startled the crap out of me. It was something I’ll never forget.

    I had a gut feeling this wasn’t gonna be suppressed either…they always seem to creep up more than modeling suggests most times. So whether it’s .5” or 3” it’s still a wet Saturday and possibly Sunday. Sucks for those hoping for dry.

    Ya was just gonna say that…a lot were trying to wish it away…I was one, but it’s been there in varying degrees pretty much the whole time. Meh or not..wet is wet.

    Lol…but then that means it rains for longer lol…sucks either way. And it’s from today through Monday…we know it’s not raining today and tomorrow…so that’s the weekend rain no matter which way you slice it. Ironically it’s Colder here(47) than in N. Maine at the moment.

    Ya that’s cool Kev. Maybe you’ll be right on that? My hope is that if it’s gonna be a drizzle light rain type of crap…then let’s flush it south. If it’s gonna ruin the weekend…then let’s get into the big stuff.

    Saturday and Sunday perhaps…but I don’t think it goes beyond that if we get it this weekend. Next week is looking quite autumnal at the moment.
