  1. I went to the first page of this thread and some of the images are pretty funny lol @ORH_wxman
  2. Horrible news. I look forward to returning to EST in November and hate going back to EDT in March. The ratio has gotten tighter and tighter since I was a kid it's now at around 8mos/4mos and it used to be closer to a 50/50 split. If we're just going to use one id be in favor of just using EST over EDT.
  3. MET winter snowfall climo compared to winter 21/22 for BDR & BDL.
  4. Today is the 5 year anni of the Pi Day storm. Ended up trending NW last minute and took major snowfall NYC/LI/CT off the table. We pounded snow for about 6 hours then mixed with and changed to sleet around 1030AM. Snow/sleet mix was some of the heaviest ive ever seen with rates up to 3-4"/hr. Ended with 9.9 in just a few hours.
  5. 3/13/18 was one of the biggest busts of all time that i can remember here in central CT. Stuck between banding is a gross understatement. E CT did very well though, one of their biggest storms there since 2015.
  6. "It could always be worse"...unless you're @WeatherX Thanks for all the reports. Probably have one more update at the end of the season in April.
  7. oh nvm i misread your quote. Will said you reported 36 but was probably closer to 30. So i thought they used someone elses report of 30.5 and tossed yours. my bad
  8. I mean it clearly was by the NWS since they didn't use it. It's ok they toss half my reports and other spotters i know for no apparent reason. is what it is.
  9. how does bob maxons tweet of an image of 30-36 prove 36? 30-36 does not equal 36. BOX PNS report has 30.5 for tolland i wasnt there so i have no idea but it seems 36 would be a bit high based on surrounding reports as well
  10. the meme is to question everything kevin reports, even if it makes sense i get it
  11. surrounding reports match up very well to his 2.5 in the NE hills
  12. my signature shows it, nothings changed 30.2 Mar 9th - 0.5 Mar 12th - Trace
  13. Here's your STD Thats pretty good for trumbull, couldnt even get measurable here so went with a big T.
  14. Thanks for the reports. Here are the final town-by-town totals from here, CoCoRahs, PNS reports and NWS 72 hour snowfall map. The coating to 2" verified well for much of the state with little to no measurable in southern and SE CT. The biggest problem was NW CT where the 5-7 range was ended up being about 40 miles to the NW. Interior W CT and N CT were definitely in the lower end of the range with 2-3+ instead of 2-5. Final Grade: C
  15. If anyone has totals from this lemme know Also if you can give me a season total if you're in CT or update the 2021-2022 New England Snow page i will be working on a STD snowfall map. Thanks!
  16. lol Thats how i picture you staring at the computer screen typing furiously with those claw paws and sharp nails with blood dripping out of your mouth onto the keys from your last victim.
