  1. Where are you located? Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  2. Maybe an inch here in central Suffolk? Roads wet. Perfect. Looks nice and no shoveling lol Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  3. Looks to be drying out to our south and southwest the last hour. Looks to be exactly as forecasted for long island. 1-2 inches. School tomorrow [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  4. Where can I find current temps across long island? Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  5. I'm not saying a non event by any means. Just an observation Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  6. Only half an inch in central Suffolk. Pretty unimpressed so far. We usually need just a nudge of a more easterly wind component to do really well here Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk

  8. Mostly agree. Thursday would have been fine. Also, I'm actually rooting for no snow [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  9. There was a legitimate chance. But should have just said that. A potential storm that would need to be watched. They immediately started saying huge winter storm . Once people hear huge it's over Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  10. As of right now I would say a standard 3-6 inch snowfall for Suffolk county. Average. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  11. But that doesn't drive the ratings Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  12. In my experience, storms of this nature typically tend to track just west of NYC. I'm thinking some heavy rain and wind for Long island, probably starting as wet snow and sleet followed by a massive dry slot. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  13. The precip field was more robust on the west side earlier. You can now see it degrading and transferring some energy towards the coast. At least to my untrained eye. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  14. With my untrained eye on the GFS this looks just slightly too far east to cause significant wind damage west of the twin forks. Thoughts? Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  15. Yep. Still raining here in central Suffolk. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  16. This area of clearing somes to be moving west northwest Is it possible Montauk sees some blue skies late today? Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  17. South and SouthEast side of the storm on radar really eroding. Some weakening happening? Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  18. This storm also is not looking too good on satellite today. I don't see any signs of organization as it runs out of time Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  19. GFS well east Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
