Storm was much farther off the coast that they had predicted. Big bust. We got less than half of that predicted.

Picked up .38" yesterday which has put me at right at 4" for the month. Currently it is still windy and 52/49.

FedEx ground sucks. I usually try not to use them but I ordered a bunch of stuff from Wallyworld and it promised a Saturday delivery. I waited as long as I could and figured they would just drop it off at the door like UPS and USPS does. At 4:30 I had to leave for about an hour and of course a short while later they showed up and then left without leaving the packages. Why they don't give a time at least within a few hours when they will deliver is beyond me. They gave me a 12 hour window. I will do my best to never use them again if I can help it. They are worse than the cable guy. Now I have to wait until Monday and hope they get here before I leave for work. Now I got a notice that they will deliver Monday by 8 PM. The holding site is over an hour away so going there is a no go.

Got a real good soaker yesterday. Picked up 1.06". Winds are in the 15 to 25 range right now in my area. Currently 50/46.

Light rain here at the moment. Picked up .35" so far today. Currently 53/52. Storm Warnings up for the outerbanks and downeast coastal areas. Wind advisory up for my area as well as coastal flood warnings for the Pamlico and Neuse rivers.

They are predicting wind gusts in excess of 40 mph Saturday and Saturday night.

Low of 33 this morning. Breeze kept the frost at bay. Currently 48/42.

Our first freeze this morning. Low of 30. Currently 40/29.

Rain is over and has pushed off the coast. 0.55" in the bucket. Currently windy and 37/35.

Temp is dropping here. Had a high of 69 earlier this afternoon and now it is down to 57 and dropping. Rain is still lagging way behind it.

34 was our low with scattered frost. Currently 54/44.

Wind kept up all night so we only got down to 36. Currently 43/40. Still waiting on our 1st frost.

It is still there but it ejects east of Florida. Nothing for us. We will see what tomorrow brings.

Picked up .64" overnight. Sunny, breezy, and cool 51/39. Hoping for our 1st frost tonight if the wind calms down.

Picked up .99" yesterday from a couple of heavy storms that rolled thru. Currently is much cooler than yesterday at 65/57.

Had a low of 60 this morning. Humidity is back up as is the temp. Currently 72/68. Picked up .04" from a morning shower.

Finally dropped below 40. Hit 39 for our low. Currently warming up nicely at 66/54.

So jealous of all of you with your first frost or freeze out of the way. We only dropped to 49 this morning. Beautiful day today. Hit a high of 65. Currently 45/42.

That would be pretty epic for November so I doubt it will verify.

New month, new stats Went to bed last night at 12:30 am and it was still 77. Big storms moved thru around 3 am with my phone blasting a tornado warning. Picked up .37" from that. No damage that I can see so it must have been doppler reported. Big change today. Woke up at 8 am to 48F with a wind chill most likely in the mid 30's. Currently 58/41.

Was 77 when I went to bed last night. Here at my October stats. High temp: 94 Low temp 43 High dew point 81 Low dew point 41 Rainfall 2.89"
