turned on our A/C for all of a couple hours today (we face west/north and get absolutely hammered by sunlight in the afternoon with a ton of windows). Back into the 60s already! We haven't had temps like this since like May lol.

I remember being on this very board (it actually might've still been Eastern at that point) and there started being reports of levee failures in some of the more susceptible wards. This was a pre-Twitter world, but I remember starting to see reports of this on the news late that night.

damn it's still 80F here downtown. 78 at DCA. That's crazy for 11pm in frickin April.

now that the wind has died down, we are holding steady at around 46/47. There will not be a freeze here in urban parts of the DC metro.

we're in the concrete jungle man - it was easily 85-86 before the clouds came in.

Hit 89.6 here downtown (my station runs a tad bit warm). Definitely felt hot, tho.
