    This will be my daughter's first real experience with snow. She was 3 months old back in 2019 when we got around 10" (so that doesn't count). Then she briefly saw some snow in early 2020 (pre-pandemic), so she was just over a year, when we were visiting some friends outside NYC in NJ.

    35/17 now. Lol being above freezing after midnight might prevent tomorrow from being the first day since 2019 that DCA stays below freezing.

    There was actually some research done showing that upper NW was part of the city with a much weaker UHI.

    It’s similar to NYC. If there is little to no wind to bring in the cold air, the temp doesn’t drop.

    you used to hear a lot of nonsense about how DC can't govern itself, etc etc we are near or at the top in terms of vaccinations, testing and near or at the bottom in terms of case counts and levels of infection.

    all i know is my in laws would be vaccinated if they lived in DC and not MD.
