    lmao - i count 3 - THREE - days of 32 or below at Central Park this January. That's insane. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Looks like they'll finish the month with maybe one more on the 31st, but that's it.

    it looks like we'll also make it through the month without a high temp in the 30s. So far the lowest max this month is 40F.

    yeah we didn't get enough absurd warmth (i.e. 70+ highs). But we've got to be near some kind of record for highest monthly min (29F now which looks like it should hold) and fewest number of sub-freezing (< 32F) nights (so far at 3, we might tack on a couple more).

    he got into it with some NE snow weenies earlier this season. I hope that is not coloring his analysis here, but I say this as someone who spent years mostly participating in the NYC sub - with some folks it's just best to ignore them.

    Yeah we barely get below 40F here in DC. It's basically a typical winter in Atlanta or Charlotte.
