    I think we'll have light to mod snow all night. Very light returns overhead and we still have light snow here.

    this is our first storm in our new neighborhood - it's interesting how we are tracking pretty close to you guys who are more or less due west of us but with similar elevation. We are basically the highest point going due west until you get to around Tysons (the Tysons skyline is actually pretty prominent from here and we can see buildings in Reston/Herndon).

    I'm really pumped how well DC and the inner burbs are doing in this storm. Literally hundreds of thousands of happy kids right now.

    yeah we are in that band too - probably 1.5" here (i'm at around 400').

    some of these shots from like Mississippi are crazy - blowing/drifting snow with temps in the low teens. Of course all the roads are snow covered because it's MS.

    it's just been wintry all day - temps in the mid 20s, light snow falling, snow everywhere.

    for some reason they didn't treat many of the side streets in Tenley/AU park. A lot are snow covered. Wisconsin and Mass seem to still be clear.
