    Sad. We had an helicopter land right in front of our parking lot at the office and we were wondering if it was someone famous or what else it could be… and then it turned out it was a search and rescue for a hiker who turned up dead. Awful

    Yeah about the same here. Very fluffy stuff. The conditions are incredible, they opened West Mountain today and most of the glades - I feel like it’s some of the best snow we’ve had in years. Feels like skiing on baby powder.

    I wasn’t expecting the moderate snow today… I don’t think it was in the forecast was it?

    Hit our low of -5 last night before midnight. Temperatures increased overnight to the current 1.5F. Light snow falling, and lots of skiers in spite of the cold.

    Thanks. It’s a heating fireplace, a bit of a hybrid. It can actually be hooked up to duct work to integrate with the house heating system. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to heat with something that looks like a fireplaces.

    Ha thanks. I have no complaints for sure. For the record that’s one of my little rental cabins. Anyone can live out the dream, at least for a few days. Although the people checking in tonight haven’t arrived yet, sloooow going

    These past few storms have been like an IV to a dying ski season. Bretton Woods has opened up a ton of terrain, including glades and the T bar. Looks like West Mountain will be opening soon as well, making the entire area accessible. Surface is a bit firm - the snowpack is DENSE but we do have 3-5” of fluffier stuff in the forecast, should be great in the upcoming days.
