This. It has been an absolute squeeze job, and I'm trying to figure out why. It's like the climo has shifted or something so that we just don't do well enough in these west-east slider like systems...it's like it always favored south of me, and I don't ever remember another time where even I, not being as far north as you, got fringed this much. Ordinarily it's DC with temp/mixing issues...but since 2019 they haven't had that with these types of sytems. I will never trust a system like this again unless it shows mixing south of me. Heavy rates just don't get up here that way lately...smh

Yep...I mean I'm up over 4 inches, but that's still the same 5" "barely WSW" wall I've been running into the last 6 years, so you know I get it. This has just not been a good zone to be in the last 6 years, smh (and I feel more bad for you because you moved to see more!)

Man I'm trying to just stay grateful for the snow I have. But man am I tired of being squeezed though...I've been squeezed west and east from a WAA, and north and south from this, not south enough for 2019 and 2022. It's like I'm always having to settle for a consolation prize. Instead this is yet another snow where it's like...yes it looks nice, but yet on the outside looking in for snow totals, and another WSW that barely reached 5 inches. As a snow lover it's frustrating. It wouldn't be if I had cashed in before, but this is now the 4th event in the last 9 years where I was on the fringe. Hope that luck changes eventually.
