  1. We need it out of the way yet not too out of the way either...lol
  2. I appreciate the folks on this board that actually understand the snow lover brain and don't smugly look down on the weenieism (for lack of a better term). Crazy takes come with the territory (so does the meaness, apparently). Sometimes I'm afraid to even post cause somebody gonna say crap--yet ain't nowhere else folks gonna get the love of snow.
  3. Yep...this weekend is looking more like the weekend to start tracking whatever comes the next week/weekend, lol
  4. See this is when having access to model runs can be bad for the snow weenie brain...lol Things happening on a run that aren't actually happening in real life but feel like they are in that moment...and thus the visceral reactions, lol
  5. Mods!! Mods!!! Ban this heretic!!!!! Begone you!!
  6. I'm almost wanna get to the weekend just to see if we can track the next week/weekend a...and leave the snowcane mess to do...whatever, lol (would be nice to get a small/moderate event out of that, though). Feels like I've seen the Euro, gfs, and cmc trying to sniff out something...but of course, still way out there!
  7. Uh...you okay dude? Lol I recommend turning on the 5th symphony. It helped me in my neroutic snow weenie outburst last week
  8. Man ya just feel like Ben is gonna win the whole dang thing and ride off into the sunset, smh
  9. 1) The 2 pt conversions weren't the only thing that sunk us 2) Yes injuries...KEY injuries--sevee from the START of the season. And throughout the season--the impact that has on the game is incomparable, imo. 3) How do you know it's a bowel issue? 4) RG3? Dude he throws better and is overall better than he is. Not to mention RG3 barely lasted 2 seasons as a starter...and never got MVP. Not saying Lamar is the BEST passer, but a heck of a lot better than RG3. And let's not even compare wins and losses. 5) This is Lamar's FIRST injury that made him miss games. Durable otherwise...
  10. Man that's nothing. Ain't no team gone through what the Ravens have gone through this year, imo
  11. Good thing we had snow last week and have potential coming up...makes the torturous end to this Ravens season a little more bearable. On its face...it feels unfair...UNLESS we win the Superbowl next year. No other outcome will make sense as to why we had to endure all this adversity this year, getting to a miraculous 8-3, and then lose out. Gotta be a bigger reason--we did not deserve this. This season was the equivalent of somebody tying both hands and one leg behind our back and telling us to play, smh. Literally handicapped...and became further handicapped as the season went on, culminating in the one thing we could least afford to happen: Lamar Jackson getting hurt (and on a PASSING play at that). Again, a healthy Ravens team can make a run...I know it. They got the heart--they never ever gave up no matter what the circumstance. That's an intangible that wins championships. Just get a new OC and pieces for the OL...and there's no telling where we can go. And again...perhaps all this is for a bigger purpose--GO RAVENS!!!
  12. Not really--it was as close as 4 of the other losses were. Any game could've been won.
  13. Still proud of my first successful INCOMING call though But yeah I hear ya...good luck getting the models to figure this out before when...Wednesday or Thursday? Lol
  14. As a general thing...I'm not sure we in this region have much room to complain about how long a snowpack lasts. It is dicey enough trying to get deep snow in the first place! How long it lasts oughta be considered a bonus, imo. Not to say I don't like a good snowpack...but I'd still rather have a deep snow then roast than no deep snow at all! Give me a 1-2 footer any day!
  15. Actually I think it's a bit of confusion since the second one is still technically on MLK weekend
  16. Wooo boy...this has a psychiatric day for the books. We go from the discussion this morning to memories of disappointment tonight. All colors of the forum on full display, lol
  17. Glad I don't remember March 2001. My first painful memory of a miss...was when it was supposed to be snowing when I woke up (on a Saturday), and it was clear blue skies instead, lol I cannot remember the year but it had to be in the early 2000s
  18. Never skied or been on a slope...but I'd be willing to try it sometime--though the thought of having to stand on two thin sticks going down a hill sounds a but terrifying, lol
