    was a senior in high school during the blizzard of 78 and they let us out at noon time, had three good size rocks in the trunk of my 68 Malibu coup and along with the snow tires that was the equivalent of all wheel drive then lol. I lived in Wethersfield and it was pretty impressive but not like the eastern part of CT

    A friend sent me this from North Myrtle Beach SC 29° down there as of 11am and they got 5 inches of snow with a little crust of ice on top of it, everything is shut down, they have no way to deal with it and it’s not going anywhere for a couple of days.

    so I left Pawleys Island yesterday at midnight and got to East Hartland about 6 PM and here’s the radar back in South Carolina now Lol!

    30° and ready to leave Pawleys Island SC for East Hartland. I’ll be going through areas that have had snow, VA Maryland and PA. I came down here a couple days before Christmas after being in Hartland for the month after Thanksgiving and thought I would be missing all kinds of terrific snow events,lol. Been following the angst over the lack of snow but if we get a decent amount of snow before the end of the month and February and March are snowy I think most will think it was at least a decent winter.

    Moved up the road a bit to East Hartland, looks and feels pretty wintery today with the light snow from yesterday, total of about an inch on the ground.
