  1. I know three people who died yesterday in my Texas hometown from Covid. While numbers here are higher than they've been, it's a devastating issue there. Sister is a nurse and they have no oxygen, and ambulances aren't taking anyone to hospitals cause there's no room. If they can't treat you on-site .... yeah ...
  2. Hey @sauss06 - you hearing of trees staring to fall over? Hershey and Middletown are out of power and I'm curious if that's why.
  3. Yup, the downpours add quickly. Looks like at 3.8" now but the gauge is blurry and I'm not going outside lol.
  4. I am shocked a paved-over creekbed has flooded out.
  5. There was a chain reaction multivehicle accident there earlier this am (3 diff accidents iirc) - wonder if that’s why?
  6. That makes sense - I knew it’s rained a lot but not enough to creare floods over a road lie that just yet. Looks like I’m close to 2.5” so far.
  7. Wilmore Borough, Cambria County, is being evacuated cause s dam is cresting.
  8. Is this really from today? It’s crazy 2-3” can do this.
  9. The FFW text says the expect .75-1.25" rain over the next hour, and up to 1-3" more for the area.
  10. Hardest rain of the day now. It's RN+, if that's a thing lol
  11. Closing in on 1.2". It's mostly light rain, then picks up for 5 mins, then gets light again ... so far.
  12. I’m going on a limb and disagreeing. It’ll be nasty and some creeks and roads will flood but I don’t think it‘ll be much worse than a severe 1 hour long storm that drops 2.5” rain. A lot of rain will fall. But 6” isn’t devastating. Edit: I don’t mean to downplay this event. I just don’t think it’ll be catastrophic-places will definitely flood.
  13. Anecdotal - so far today every storm is dying out as it moves northeast of Chambersburg.
  14. I’m preparing for the rain and on my 3rd Pumpking on a Tuesday night to just shove pumpkin beers in August in @Bubbler86’s face.
  15. Yup. Multiple disaster areas around the NW suburbs there. We were out that way 2 weeks ago amd it’s rough.
  16. This looks like some cells I saw via a microscope in 9th grade biology.
