But very very little rain. IIRC the Euro over the weekend had parts of MD/PA getting like 6" rain this week. The Euro has for some reason seems to have been a total trainwreck.

Today's not too bad at least! Although it is pretty muggy the thick clouds have kept it around 70.

My bitching should be more centered - it's the high lows that irritate me. 72 is awesome if it's back in the mid 60s by 5:30 or whatever. But we're higher than that and I don't recall a more humid start of October.

I see zero pattern change through the whole month. Maybe in November we'll get some highs in the 50s. My guess though is we go straight from 70+ to 45 and skip 50s and 60s entirely (except last week .. remember that?)

Lancaster and York counties put into a brown box for isolated severe wind gusts this evening.

It has dropped but we were in the office then so could come home and open the house to cool off. SInce we are here and it gets warmer outside than in by noon or so, it just builds up and becomes blah. Life's too short to sit inside a house that is above 75 degrees!

It doesn't seem like there's a change in pattern at all for several week. Warm, humid air inflow continuously. I've never had to run the AC in October and it'll not be off for weeks. It's awful.

I have no dog in the fight and I hate Mike Yurdich with the fire of a thousand La Nina's, but I think Penn State actually wins. I think it'll be a 16-10 or something type game, but PSU's defense is better than Iowa's and I think that'll be the difference. But more importantly it's 11:36 a.m. and OU STILL SUCKS. Hook 'em!

Monday looks like some rain for most of us. But quit dry and warm the next two weeks.

We did go. Not for the whole thing - had a dinner reservation. It we have a friend who is high up and was able to visit the box for a few innings. There was a womens March which made traffic a bitch and it was really too hot but otherwise a great day.
