When are you headed out?

We have an outdoor birthday party from 12-2 pm tomorrow for a 1 year old. Lots of shade in the backyard, thankfully!

Both MDT and CXY are offline. Weird.

I think we miss 90 Tuesday and Wednesday (and maybe Monday) but think we get another heatwave going into next weekend.

88/69 at 11:30. Think I hit 95 today.

83 at 11 f this

I believe I’ll hit 100 Sunday. CTP calling for 99.

96 here. Car actually said 97 and it’s crazy accurate. 102 in the garage.

90/68 at 2 pm. Clouds have helped it not soar past 90.

Can you do the first half of Sept and the first half of June to compare? I have a feeling that's why I tend to think September is warmer now ... but it might just be expectations.

I completely forgot our Septembers are now basically warmer than Junes. Ugh.

That heat advisory might as well last through Sunday at say 9 pm. They’re gonna have to reissue it over and over I guess.

That cold front next Monday/Tuesday - I’m not sold on it getting in this far south. Regardless it is one cooler at (mid to upper 80s) and then we look to reload the heat train. I do think we have this heat last a another two weeks on/off. And Sunday will flirt with 100 for some of us down here. I think I heard Voyager scream in excitement as he read this post.

85 here at 10:40. The lows tonight might possibly set record max mins. I doubt it drops below 74 for a lot of us in the LSV.

CTP talks about drought in tonight’s discussion (along with HI near 100 a few days): “Overall, very little rainfall is fcst through the weekend which /given the hot & dry days/ could lead to a further rate of change acceleration of D0 drought conditions over the CWA on a week over week basis. Last week, there was a ~30% increase in D0 conditions mainly over the northern third of the CWA. Heat peaks Sat into Sun with Heat Index values approaching 100F over the SE each afternoon before temps fall back closer to normal by Tuesday.“

MDT appears to be at 90 solid now. 91 for the high here. Humidity is lower so it’s not horrible in shade. Thursday will absolutely suck.

85 at 11:15 am - probably on my way to 90 in what I think will be 7 or 8 consecutive days over 90. I'll keep track! At least it's not too humid.
