  1. 12z GFS ticks east some more at the surface and aloft, SLP just east of ACK, Looking better as far as the track goes, Looks a smidge warmer on the coast at the surface in SNE.
  2. Pittsburg-First CT Lake and the Jackman area just about a lock on that map for a white Christmas
  3. I took a few with my Remington 30-06 over the years, Traded that in for the 7mm-08 a few years back as the slide was warn and it also would no longer eject the shells so i didn't want to spend more $$ on an older rifle, The 7mm-08 is more recoil friendly as well as the creedmoor as i put a box and a half of shells thru it pre deer season and my shoulder thanked me......lol, But same here, I saw 1 deer but had no shot and i won't shoot just for the sake of shooting unless i have a kill shot.
  4. I have a feeling that changes for you the end of the week as you look to open up a large margin.
  5. Ha ha, Well i already had a 7mm 08 which basically was similar, I did hit the target at 200yds with the creedmoor as that was at the end of the range, But it didn't have a magazine and was a top load which was a PIA, The creedmoor has a 5 shot clip so i traded that one for the 9mm pistol
  6. It can only get so far west with the blocking and we may have already maxed out that solution so now these east ticks are starting to show up and hopefully continue.
  7. I have not even fired one round out of it yet as i just picked it up but that's what i heard, Recoil is manageable, There's a few indoor ranges near by and a buddy of mine has a nice outdoor one where i sighted in my 6.5 Creedmoor rifle before hunting season but to cold now to shoot outside.
  8. I would like to see the SLP track another 50-75 mi east or so to veer the wind more NNE then ENE off the warm waters off the coast, That is where the coast and coastal plain could benefit as surface temps are going to be marginal as it stands right now.
  9. It has been tickling east on the ensemble guidance as more members are starting to remain offshore into the GOM, Its still very close but foothills into the mountains and North are going to get pounded, Need to build a pack up there so that's what i want to see, Riding is limited down this way the last few years so i've had to venture NW which is fine by me.
  10. The block may actually help up here this time otherwise then that this would end up over PF's head.
  11. The slide is also ported with 6 vent holes, (3 on ea side), (Barrel has 2), It vents the gases when you fire the handgun and suppose to take away some of the recoil, That's basically the reasoning for it besides it may be a few grams lighter but nothing of any significance.
  12. Actually ended up with 0.5" once i gout out side and measured.
  13. I can't find anything i didn't like in the overnight model runs, And i think they may even get a bit better for some.
  14. After today's system, May start getting some idea on the next once it clears the Northeast and begins to interact with the 50/50 low to the north.
  15. Still some work to do but a nice step in the right direction, SLP development was further south this run.
  16. Won't last long but nice to see none the less.
  17. That's a colder look on the 0z GFS for the weekend system.
  18. The ICON must suck, There has been zero mention of it for next weekend.
  19. Went from 0% chance of snow to some enhanced snow, 19.6°F.
  20. Ha, Just saw RJ Heim on news13 up here, Some of you must know him in SNE.
  21. At 12z, They're a few more members east in the Atlantic then at 06z on the EPS.
  22. Thanks, No, Its the M&P 9mm performance shield with the ported barrel.
