HRRR did pretty good my way. Had 4.4 at MMU; according to @MANDA we did 4.22” in Chester.

According to the NOAA map, my area is over 3.5” at 6:00 pm. It’s currently raining harder than it has all storm.
-
Big storms blowing up here. Heavy rain with occasional lightening with the rumbles of thunder.

Flood watch posted for Morris/Hunterdon/Sussex

Seeing the backside of a pretty impressive cell to my east; I’m guessing towards Morristown.
The top of it has various shades of color as the sun sets and the storm approaching from my west starts to fill in.
Happy 4th!

About another .75”-1” with that round. We should be over 5” for storm total.

Can confirm the rain totals posted by @MANDA; we were getting crushed again this morning.
On my drive down the hills into bedminster this morning the North Branch of the Raritan is milk brown and pumping. Look out below…- 1

Chased a heavy storm from Cabellas all the way back. Roads are flooding in Long Valley.
Expecting the basement to start flooding.- 1

Cell #2 for the day. Heavy rain overhead, mowing is done for the day.

Sunshower from that cell NW of SMQ. Trying to mow in between the rain.

Personally this has been the nicest May/June that I can recall in sometime in terms of low humidity and a good diurnal range. Granted now we need rain.
Have no fear summer lovers, heat/humidity are on the way; they always are.

Rivers are getting close to jumping their banks out this way.
The North Branch of the Raritan in Bedminster is humming.
The Passaic was high yesterday near New Road/280, I am sure that will be closing roads any minute now. -
We had hail again last night; twice in the span of 4 days. I don’t remember it hailing last year in my area. Interesting.

41 currently.

Finished with about 2.5”; noaa rain gauge confirms (not sure the accuracy).

Pouring in Chester. Lightening/thunder and flooding. Basement is taking on water.
-
88, at least it isn’t humid. This needs to wait at least another month.

29 here; colder in the lower elevations per local wunderground numbers.
Happy Easter!

Did the final tally today, ended up with exactly 15 inches on the season. Believe it or not, that's not far off from the last few years IMBY, with 20-21 being the obvious exception because of that crazy February stretch. 19-20 was worse off, and only saw 13 inches, none of which fell in February or March. Last year had slightly more at 21 inches, but it should be noted that January was a lot colder and therefore we had a lasting snowpack. @rgwp96 @ForestHillWx
Looking forward to a gradual transition to spring now with the increasing average temps and longer days.
Your numbers are similar to mine. Candidly I didn’t measure the nuisance snows.
All I know is that I shoveled once. The others, I let nature take care of.

Currently 29.5. Has not moved much since daybreak. Up just .5 degrees. Light snow currently. Has been light to moderate snow all morning. Gusty NW wind. Est. 20-30 mph at times. Blowing snow. Snowfall so far 4.5”. Lesser amounts on streets and walks. Radar has been impressive over NNJ all morning with pseudo CCB especially over western/central parts of NNJ. At higher elevations it is accumulating.
I'll add I was only forecasting 4" for my location so my expectations have been met. Anything else is gravy on the biscuit.
I’m in Chester, can confirm. Nice steady snow since 7:00 am, no road accumulation but piling it up.

Road is clear, but it is absolutely ripping under this band. Easily 4”-5” on non-paved surfaces.

We did about 4.25” down this way.
The videos coming out of the Bear Mt. area are insane.
