  1. Nice to scrape out a bonus evening before the heat. 71/61 I think the deer were prepping today. Found this doe chilling In the shade.
  2. Massholes huh? Live free and sweat this week.
  3. 55/53. Won't be seeing It again for a while.
  4. S*** show in Pennsylvania and New York with Gypsy moths. They have eaten every type of tree.
  5. I'm surprised if you read all the media stuff they make it seem like he's got it all wrapped up. No way...

  7. It really couldn't be nicer in the Catskills.
  8. Trying to find a cup of coffee. Seems like there are just strip joints...
  9. Hopefully it backs off. Wasn't today and yesterday supposed to be hot? Even the BDL heated tarmac didn't reach 90 either day.
  10. Over an inch and a half of rain at the woodyard. Just over an inch in southborough.
  11. Totally unscientific but today has the feel and sound of some good storms on the way.
  12. Looks like a raven. They've made it come back in New England. They make a very distinctive noise if you heard it. Almost a gargling.

  14. Brief mild up. The roosters will be crowing again soon.
  15. Someone got into the liquor cabinet.
  16. Thursday looks particularly brutal. Gets to 91 by noon. By the end of the day heat index tops 110. Hopefully it won't come about. I put down the saws whenever the heat index gets over a hundred. No need for a stroke...
  17. Today has to get some votes for Day of the year. Stunning.
  18. I promise last one! The first two articles kind of poo pooed the damage. Not what I'm seeing. This is more like it. https://digitalmaine.com/for_docs/98/

  20. Pine trees that look like they're dying mystery solved. I've been checking the news everyday. Finally! https://www.nhpr.org/environment/2024-06-11/why-are-nhs-white-pines-turning-orange-signs-point-to-last-years-wet-spring
  21. Could equal the number of 90° days we had all last summer just next week. As much as I hate the heat as long as we don't get the 20 inches of rain a month like last summer I can handle it.
