    Early fall. First picture is American chestnut and the second is Black Birch. Early every year but not this early. Also this is on a hill on my property the rest of the forest is just starting.

    Actually I just did a little googling. The Ranch is pretty much halfway between us. We could do that again. Talked to John earlier in the season and he was still dealing with injury so he probably is out.
