  1. I think there is a little bit of truth to this but it’s clear whoever makes the call in each county is pretty incompetent and doesn’t have any understanding of the weather.
  2. They were definitely embarrassed about the delay for rain so I think that unfortunately is impacting their decision today.
  3. I must be just barely north of that band. Just very light snow here. Barely above a flurry.
  4. Thanks, I am an idiot and didn’t notice which run it was. Makes more sense now.
  5. That was the significant north shift? It’s getting late, early for this one. I don’t like the trajectory. Needs to be more southwest to northeast.
  6. Ouch, definitely a slight northwest trend lately that is gradually eating away at what little snow 95 might get. Latest Euro is basically just a few flakes for many of us.
  7. We need a 20ish mile shift south. I also hate being on the southern edge. I feel like I’ve seen this movie before and it’s a dusting at best before a flip.
  8. Winter is looking up! Just need Mount PSU to get his 4-6 Tuesday and we can get ready for a fun winter.
  9. Flurries to a wintry mix here. Enough sleet to probably record a trace.

    Winter 2025-26

I’ll take January 1996 and call it a winter.

    Winter 2025-26

Saw a DT post hyping up this winter a bit lol.
  12. Get used to it. Gonna see a bunch of this over the next six months.

    Warm/wet and cold/dry obviously
  14. Nope just barely south by probably a few miles. Crazy how that line didn’t sag and fell apart.
  15. I haven’t had a drop yet today somehow. Will be interesting what happens with that east west blob and if it sinks south sooner than later.
  16. Just over an inch here. Definitely some winners and losers with this one. Think I landed pretty much in the middle.
  17. I’ve had about an inch or so total out of this system.
  18. If this was 2 months ago, especially after nearly the past decade, I’d be looking for the nearest bridge to jump off of, lol.
  19. D+? One decent storm and not much else. I missed out on the epic squall day, which might have been the coolest part of winter for some. That said, there were a bunch of days with snow showers or flurries, and the decent storm timed up well with cold air behind it for almost the entire month of January, so there was snow over for almost an entire month. February was just such a disappointment, and our third snowiest month has been just really windy and now warm and there is nothing to track. The season basically ended in late February in terms of tracking anything. It was probably a B- considering expectations heading in and given recent years, but it seemed like we missed some opportunities once it actually got going.
  20. Flurries. Must have come down harder for a few minutes because I have a light dusting on sidewalk and it stuck to the street in spots as well.
  21. Sad to hear Richmond is getting anything.
  22. I thought the NAM wasn't even developed until after the January 2000 storm specifically because of that major model miss?
  23. Saw there was a ton of posts in here and was wondering what in the world was going on. Can't say the number of posts matches the models lol.
