That's true. But They've been mediocre since the beginning of June. About a .500 team. About half the season

Last year watching the Os was a joy. Watching them this year has been frustrating more times than not.

With all the injuries the bull pen is a real mess since Kimbrel seems cooked. Can't really see them going far in the playoffs with this bull pen and the inability to move runners over , hit sac flies, etc. As currently constructed they don't seem to do thr stuff it takes to go deep in October. Not sure if that's on players or coaches but I can definitely see them swept away in a short wild card series

Pitching and their lack of situational hitting. They have a high powered offense when things are rolling but they really struggle with moving runners over, hitting sack flies, etc. Basically all the stuff you need to do to when in October.

They needed that win last night badly Tuesday nights game was probably the worst game of Hydes career with the Os. Lots of head scratching decisions

Os getting manhandled by the best team in the AL. My wag is they miss the playoffs. Something changed with this team about 6 weeks ago. Only about 6 games between them and missing the playoffs. Other than Eflin the trades were uninspiring

I can't believe they didn't add to their bullpen today. The backend of their bullpen isn't good enough to win a championship.

Lol. That would be one way to end the season. During their 6 game losing streak and even last night they have been out shot badly. Just not generating enough offensive chances. Hard to win games with only 6 to 8 shots on goal per period.

Caps are done. Limping to the finish line. 5 loses on a row. Blew a 2- 0 lead. Outshot tonight 44 to 16. Out of gas.....
