  1. 72F/35F with a few Cu. Yep, this will do.
  2. Where did you pick this up? How much was a bag? I see they have a list of stores, just curious about price. Don't think its carried anywhere around here.
  3. So true, happened on my Mom and Dad's side both when my last grandparent passed away. Kind of like you mentioned, we're not talking about life changing money either, but some relationships were irrevocably altered. Some of the shadiness from close family members was kind of shocking. Happened on my wife's Dad side also, sad.
  4. 1.71" last night and 4.42" last 6-7 days. Nice spongy feel to the ground.
  5. Yea, you will see some along rte 9 unless it melts before you get there.
  6. Was at the kitchen sink post dinner last night and this guy just pops up at the window.. coming back for seconds. Never been face to face like that before.
  7. 2.45" here last few days. Next week looks pretty awful too-hopefully some breaks to score a nice day or two. No snow here, just some flakes on my cam, but nothing stuck.
  8. Euro is not exactly dry over the next week or so either.
  9. Yea, pretty classic SVT upslope radar right here--No man lands (Glastenbury) down through Woodford just getting crushed with some decent to very good returns elsewhere. Would have been an easy 12"+ in the usual spots down here.
  10. Yea, my backyard brook is a little more audible this morning. Pretty widespread 1.5-2" will do that.
  11. RIP my new bird feeder...the one night I forget to bring it in. Clip (April 30 2021 at 133 AM).mp4
  12. Subcritical flow is not good normally for Stratton and Mt Snow. If its' really blocked the Taconics can trap the heavier stuff up by me and even Washington County NY can score a few inches and even block the good stuff from me on the Green's western slope. We aren't usually totally shut out even really blocked flow, but can limit maxing out on accum. Woodford normally is OK in any flow, the Taconics open up down by Bennington and the elevations are lower just to the north so the precip can bank up into there. Been a few times where Bennington itself has had more than up by me in Manchester when really blocked. I see Mitch just chimed in with some sounding stuff, so looks like it may make it to Stratton and even Mt Snow possibly.
  13. Good for her for cashing in on this NFT madness.... 'Disaster Girl' selling original photo behind viral meme (nypost.com)
  14. And yes, Deerflies are the absolute f'n worst! They almost picked me up at 4k at the top of stratton last summer and flew away with me.. May try this tactic this summer..
  15. This is already a second or third wave of black flies down here, they have been out for a few weeks. I'm same as Diane, Deet does absolutely nothing to deter blackflies from me. I can bathe in it and they attack even more it seems.
  16. Black fly apocalypse today..cloudy with a little bit of dews and they got very hungry.
  17. Overall, the discussion is great, it does seem to veer off at times and get a little personal/political. Personally I really appreciated the insight from WhitinsvilleWx on the vaccine stuff, that has been really interesting to me. Stock stuff too.
  18. Certainly seem to be on borrowed time with this thread...
  19. Gene mentioned black flies, they actually came out last week here, was getting swarmed for a few days, thinking a few nights down to 25F and 30F this week knocked them back hopefully, haven't seen any since then. I'm sure it's only a matter of time till the next batch hatches...unfortunately.
  20. I think you can get the 60 min and 90 min dogfish head in a lot of spots in New England, they have it at my local beverage spot in town here, so must be pretty wide spread i would think. DogFish head 60 and 90 got me into the IPA game about 11-12 years ago when I lived in PA. Enjoying a Doppelganger from TH tonight.
  21. Pretty solid totals up north. 1.5" vaporized even under cloudy skies and 31.F max temp so far.
  22. Very blocked looking flow down this way at the moment...
  23. Just picked up a Davis VP2 with FARS for $50 locally from a guy. He actually said he bought it from Burke Mtn about 10 years ago which is kind of interesting. Of course I had to get Dendrite to PM me all the pertinent questions to ask as I had no clue....ha. Even if it needs a few parts updated, seems like a deal. .5" total here. Some super light stuff coming down now. 29.4F (if the VP2 is calibrated right )
  24. For sure...I dropped from 48F to 33F pretty quickly before this batch of precip even got in here.
