  1. The trend seems to be further west up the Appalachians. They could probably use it more then the lowlands. I just hope it doesn't end up boring here with just passing showers and fast moving low clouds for days.
  2. It doesn't look like anything extreme and never really did. A good soaking over several days is exactly what we need, and look to get. It should be a nice break from the crushing heat and humidity.
  3. It looks like one of those big tropical rain events that hits Japan and China. I think they call extreme rain events, black rain warning. Black rain warning sounds so much cooler. This looks like a black rain event.
  4. Do it, WxWatcher007. Time for a thread. You're our tropical expert.
  5. GFS brings 3-4" across the area. It looks like it forms a new low as it moves offshore.
  6. The predicted the euros path a month ago. Congrats to the same places that have been swamped all summer. Let's hope that changes.
  7. It's funny seeing the hype with the social media meteorologist. I've see rainfall maps posted with crazy totals. The comments by soccer moms that follow these guys are freaking out. Reminds me of winter lol. Meanwhile, in reality, we have 0 clue what or where it's going.
  8. GFS is interesting. Not for our area, but interesting lol
  9. I'm just sitting on my patio smoking a joint of some Blueberry Cupcake that I grew. The sky is getting dark, wind is picking up. It's a beautiful evening. Edit: The rain has moved in. Big ole raindrops.
  10. Definitely impressive. You can see it on radar blasting wind out of it. It looks like the storm is collapsing.
  11. NE MD is a swamp this summer. They get pummeled just about every day. It's really windy and hot here. No rain yet but I'm watching storms fire to my west. Hopefully it's a action packed evening.
  12. It looks like the GFS might of smoked a little bit of crack. That's a unique storm track lol
  13. The drought seems to definitely be shrinking in size.
  14. It's nice and green again here, 10 miles west of Annopoils. The sound of mowers has returned. The drought started in a flash and ended in a flash in my area. The slightly shorter days also seem to allow the ground to stay moist slightly longer. Hopefully today storms hit the desert valleys to the west and move across the entire area.
  15. Congrats up that way. That's a big ole fat storm. I'm getting a nice storm vibe evening with jungle forest sounds and distant thunder.
  16. Congrats northern MD and NE, MD. Looks like a stormy night up that way. Radar lighting up nicely.
  17. I was just going to comment on how I like my location lol. I just drove out to Potomac, MD to look at a job. I could tell their was a boundary up north of 70, looking north from 495. I could see rising motion in the clouds. Once it gets below Columbia it should explode and my heater continues lol 98/80 here in the lowland jungle.
  18. Oh, look! The eastern shore and southern VA get crushed again. Shocker. That area has been a swamp this summer. They'll probably get tropical activity next week while we smoke cirrus clouds and weed.
  19. Looks like some storm blowing up west of DC in this hot air. Hopefully that sets off some fun this evening in the DC area.
  20. Probably a mile to his east lol The heat is pretty intense out there. 97 in the shade.
  21. And it falls apart on entry, and blows up just to the east. WTF, Stephens City. How did you mess this up lol
  22. Looks like a bigger one right behind the first one. Heater City
  23. Looks a dead on hit into Stephens City.
