Humidity is strain, cola size, and light sorce dependent .I realize  It's hard to control in most greenhouse setups but 38% is to low at any stage under any light for an extended period of time. Terpenes and flavonoids volatilize below 50% even before the chop. Just a day or two at 38% probably won't effect quality much though. After harvest 38% is a massive no no. 50% to 55% under hps, and natural light in late flower. 55%-60% under LED.  24 years, 365 days a year coco coir and organic chelate experience. If your getting mold between 50% to 60% the plant has poor mold resistance.

I'm dialing in the greenhouse so I do get drops below 40%. I aim for about 50-55%. Drying 60/60. Humidity and temp. I was commenting on how good it felt having a low humidity. Right now humidity is 53. Feels like a spring day lol

Depending on what you’re growing and/or what stage your plant is in, might want to up your humidity to around 60%. Transpiration ftw. ;)

    It’s dark out.

Not with blooming cannabis. During veg growth, yes. During flower it's important to keep humidity low to prevent mold and to simulate fall.

    What was the relative humidity?

Man.. I had to dial it in hard. I had condensation running down the roof last evening when I cranked it up. Humidity was 70%. The plants are pretty large and breathing really well. I had to crank up my dehumidifier to high but I've managed to stabilize it to 72 with a Humidity of 50%. I'm in week one of flower so I'm going to aim at 50-60% Humidity until late flower when I run 50% or less and lower temps at night to about 60. That brings out the color and terps. This greenhouse is new and I'm playing with getting dialed in before they transition into bloom.

an overnight low of 20 which is the coldest night this season, and I don't expect to come anywhere near that again until the end of December or some time in January. we had scheduled the fall maintenance on our heat pump and gas furnace for this morning so the system got its first workout last night.

I ran my propane heat in my greenhouse last night for the first time. I went in at 7am to check it and it was 86 lol. I'll save that for colder nights. Got down to about 30 here in the wooded area I live.

  5. Ahhhh.. back home to my shitty climo in AA county lol. I do stay in Hagerstown two days a week because my company has a large contract washing commercial vehicles (tractor trailers) there. I get to drive over the blue ridge and short part of the Catoctins. It's awesome driving through the different microclimates in this gorgeous state. I've experienced some interesting weather over the past 9 months doing this. I'm looking forward to winter. Anyway, cold out there. Already 38 degrees. I just switched from electricity to propane heat in my greenhouse. It's 82 with a humidity of 62% in there. My plants live better then a lot of people do lol

Yeah, after a warm start, it feels like the Octobers I remember growing up with.

I was thinking the same thing this morning. I feel like recent Octobers have been hot and dry. This has been a beautiful October. Hopefully we'll get some of those fresh powder blue bird mornings this winter that I remember as a kid. I remember going to bed with snow in the forecast, sneaking to the living room window during the night and seeing it dumping. Then wake up to dark blue sky and 8-12" on the ground.

  7. Another cloudy day. Mostly cloudy and 55 outside. Sunny and 78 in my greenhouse. 500 watts of LED grow lights make up for cloudy days with low sun angle. Looks like they will be running full blast this weekend also.

Will certainly be interesting to see how the wind forecasts fare. On one hand, the storm is weakening...but there is still that pressure gradient and the system will be getting closer.

Looks like a fire hose setting up to our SE, and headed our way. Seems to be a lot of convective stuff firing from Salisbury, N&E. It might get pretty wet here soon. The rain is picking up here.

Outages around the area are definitely higher than earlier - but really nothing significant. We'll see how things fare as we get into the afternoon as the system works its way up towards us.

The wind is getting noticeable stronger here in AA County. I live in a wooded area. It goes from calm and silent to hearing a gust coming through the forest from the SE. It's becoming more frequent and stronger.

Yeah, forecasting on Baby Ophelia has been pretty solid for the past 24-36 hours, just did a lot of catching up on NHC's discussions and graphics. It does indeed read like we're going to have some moderate impact here in the metro areas. Between lurking here, finishing some taskers at work, and squeezing the weekly mowing in...gonna be a busy day!

Indeed. I'm working ot today to get everything buttoned up. I've got a 10' tall cannabis plant in full bloom that I need to build support for. I'll be out in the dark tonight doing that. Ugh.. legal weed lol
