I measured 4 inches in my bucket over the last week, but the official forecast is under 2 inches.

I haven't checked the bucket of late. It was like a half an inch 4 hours ago.

My rain bucket only has a quarter of an inch in over the last two days. We need a lot more to bust this drought. A lot more showers in the forecast though.

Was supposed to rain today. Sprinkles that's it. At least it's 60 degrees today.

Was 86 here, mowed the grass at noon, then the cool front came through and it was 72 at 4 PM.

My dad said he measured an inch of rain in his bucket. Again, .3in of rain at Newport News International Airport.

Kind of a funny anecdote. I was doing yard work at my parents house and their cat Winston was outside too. A bolt from the blue hit somewhere close within 100 yards and that cat almost ran me down getting in the house through the cat door.

This is insane. Back to back 90 degree days in April.

Leaving a restaurant today and it was pouring. I guess at least an inch, Newport News International Airport says .67 inches. GFS sucks too. There is no rain for the next 2 weeks.

Newport News Intl says .66 inches of rain. It was at least 1 inch in my bucket. Looking at the models, this is the only rain we will see for a week.

Got down to 29 degrees. The tomato plants at Walmart were wilted from the freeze.
