Some of these tornado videos are beautiful. They kept saying a stove top tornado could be an EF-5. I'm like no it's not. Turned out to be an EF-3 165 MPH winds. -

I love how a certified weather spotter is a thing. You take a two hour class and you're given a speech. Here's your diploma! -

It was an odd rise in temperature, 5 miles away at Newport News International Airport maintained 99 degrees with a heat index of 110 degrees. -

I was at might dad's house burying my dead cat. Thunderstorms were coming and we needed a move on. I put him in his favorite blanket and we got a move on. Cat was in and out just before the storms hit. He was a great cat.

Forecast: yeah, it's going to rain. Then in reality, not really. Sorry.

I measured 4 inches in my bucket over the last week, but the official forecast is under 2 inches.

I haven't checked the bucket of late. It was like a half an inch 4 hours ago.

My rain bucket only has a quarter of an inch in over the last two days. We need a lot more to bust this drought. A lot more showers in the forecast though.
