I think that is the crux of why my area has struggled the past several years...the absence of those SWFEs that I usually clean up on. For as much as I love the huge coastals, most of those are better either closer to the coast or further inland...so not having the SWFEs to supplement my snowfall has killed.
We are due from some sort of evolution like that....N Mass has no business having basement snow totals this season. Maybe it goes down like that and is just a fluky season like '79-80, but always bet against that.
I may have a realistic shot at the futility record. Still 9.9" to go. I look to get shut out the remainder of January, before February flips mild on a lot of guidance. ...still no sign of any PV disruption if we're thinking ahead towards March.
Tough to forget the snow deficit when you have barren, cracked earth beneath you. ...now with OES added to the mix, every other direction has snow pack, anywhere you travel.
The brutal cold on top of it....if I could sign now and end the season, I think I would....I was still excited about winter through December, but these useless three weeks of January have broken me.
