  1. Zero doubt that is the general solution. Going to be a another moderate event at best for most....never trust the phase this season.
  2. Not your fault...that's why it gets so snippy here sometimes..all of the little nuances in everyone's mood and perceptions. The GFS is still good for you on the heels of a 6" jackpot yesterday....not surprised you aren't a Debbie. lol
  3. The kick due east is what bums me out...that would be a killer here.
  4. Well, it sucks for the "Debbie's" back yards. Pretty maddening for areas around here, where everything decent goes north, and now south the area. Even more so for SW CT. I think the mid levels will save me if they close.
  5. Its probably because you were focusing on your own back yard....understandable. Just remember to try and be intially conservative if there is any doubt...you end up looing a lot more credible.
  6. Yes...36* and not 50*...still a marine influence more hostile to snow.
  7. You are surrounded by water. N, NE E, SE, S, SW, W, and NW scream marine influence.
  8. I think this deal is going to be essentially a now-cast, which is a novelty at this day and age....I'll bet against a juggernaut. I still like something a bit more amped than my first call from Wednesday night. I'll do Final Call this PM....I will increase a bit.
  9. I agree.. always been against the phase. Nice event, but not a nuke.
  10. I think we end up with two 6-12" events for a large portion of the area. No nuke...but two nice events.
  11. I know, but the QPF gradient is a crude approximation, and that aligns....just a guess on my part.
  12. Saturday actually has a good banding signal from back through ORH county on Saturday.
  13. I could see that...I mentioned earlier, bet against phasing this season. Still should be a good event.
