Shockingly Chattanooga got a true summer morning soaker. Also the CPC 6-10 day chart is AN rainfall. Given what's on the way Friday and Monday, scattered over the weekend, and whatever after that.. Barring an epic failure some drought relief is incoming.

My grass was late-August crunchy last week.  Today, it is recovering and green.  What a difference a week makes.  Rain is in the forecast as it should be for this time of year.  I was running on the greenbelt and ended up in a flooded section - we have had that much rain.  This isn't a big creek nor was there any current....I went on through it.  It was surprisingly cold.  The humidity is what I am having to get used to!

Nothing panned out today. It looked like it was going to rain all day, but it never really started. Only 0.05" here. Total for this 10 day wet pattern was 4.94". We need a few more of those to get back to normal. Still in D2 conditions here, but D3 is only a few miles away.

That's tough that you guys missed out. It was a very rainy last 9 days of the month here, with nearly 7 inches for the month, mostly falling over those 9 days. The heavy storms on Friday into Saturday came in at 2.95 inches on its own.

Hopefully we can all get some rain tomorrow. The weeks looks dry after that.

It looks like it's going to warm up next week but rain chances return. It's been a nice first week of June. Not had to run my AC. It was in the upper 40s two mornings this week and the lower 50s this morning. Its 57 right now. I just leave the windows open and the house cools down to around 65 by morning, and it's not been able to get above 72 inside before the day starts cooling. Once the humidity returns, so will the AC.
